Born and raised in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Gary Salzieder started his building career in the early 70's right out of high school as he learned the trade from his grandfather (John E. Nielsen Construction).  After his grandfather's death in 1976, he decided to go out on his own, thus the beginning of "Salzieder Builders".

The love for being a "hands on" builder has been evident throughout the years as Salzieder Builders is now one of Oshkosh's "Best Builders".  You will often hear our subcontractors telling people "If you want it done right, call Salzieder Builders".  Since Gary is always on the job, his constant communication with clients makes it easy for any decision making throughout the project.
